I’m Alex—Kahuna bodyworker, dancer and facilitator.
My passion is to blend creativity with therapy to guide you on a journey of self-exploration and healing through somatic practices like BODYWORK, BREATHWORK, and MOVEMENT. Helping you reconnect with your body, process emotions, and find harmony and peace within!
My Journey
My path into the realm of somatics began with Kahuna Bodywork, a profound and transformative practice that shaped my personal and spiritual evolution. Travelling solo around the world opened my mind, deepened my self-awareness, and connected me to various cultures and healing modalities. Along the way, I studied massage therapy, Thai yoga, reflexology, reiki and Chi Nei Tsang, which all enhanced my understanding of the body and its energetic flow. This journey ignited my passion for creating sensory experiences that elevate the soul. These immersive sessions are designed to help you access a transcendent state of being and unlock your inner healing potential.
As a lifelong dancer, I am deeply attuned to the therapeutic power of intuitive movement. Dance, for me, has always been a way to release energy in motion—emotions that can build up in the body. Through embodied movement, we expand our consciousness and free ourselves from what no longer serves us. I’m also very aware of the transformative power of music, which plays a central role in all of my offerings. Music has the power to access parts of us that words cannot reach, stirring memories buried deep within and playing a crucial role in the healing process.
My curiosity then led me to breathwork, a practice that has become essential in my life. The simple yet profound act of conscious breathing helps us manage stress and anxiety, bringing us back into balance. Breathwork is a powerful tool—one that has changed my life—and I am passionate about helping others tap into this innate resource we carry within us.
Additionally, I embrace the discipline of yoga, where the union of breath and movement creates physical and spiritual spaciousness. Yoga grounds, aligns, and supports us in the alignement of mind, body and spirit.
Finally, mindfulness can help us get back to our true nature as humain-beings instead to human-doings! In our fast-paced world, mindfulness offers us the gift of slowing down and reconnecting with ourselves. It allows us to be fully present, aware, and engaged in meaningful actions that connect us to something greater.
My Mission
Today, my mission is to create somatic healing journeys that integrate all of these practices and insights I’ve gained over the years. I offer safe spaces for you to explore your inner world, confront what is alive within you, and transmute the energies causing suffering. The goal is to restore a sense of balance, sovereignty, and self-acceptance.
In a world that often overstimulates our minds and bodies, it’s easy to lose sight of who we truly are. My work is about guiding you back to your true essence, helping you remember your innate wisdom, and offering tools that support your journey in a safe and loving way.
My approach is rooted in my own experience, intuition and creativity, shaped by many years of personal research and embodiment. I am driven by a deep passion for exploration and introspection, consistently stepping outside of my comfort zone to gain insight and wisdom on a deeper, cellular level. With authenticity, generosity, and a touch of playfulness, I am committed to supporting you on a part of your own journey.
Lastly, I believe It’s not about striving for perfection or constant happiness, but rather about navigating life’s challenges with grace and compassion, finding beauty amidst the chaos, and embracing the contradictions within us.
